Polished concrete systems

Right process.
Right floor.

The correct approach depends on slab quality, programme, traffic and the finish you want to achieve.

Selection criteria

Start with the substrate and the use.

For a new floor, coordinate concrete placing, curing, joints and protection before selecting a polish. For an existing floor, trial the material and record repairs, contamination and likely appearance. Heavy traffic, moisture, cleaning methods and the desired visual standard determine whether direct polishing, a screed or microcement is suitable.
